Gretchen and I Opened The Sphere – Las Vegas, Nevada

Living in Las Vegas has its perks. Without question, my hometown is the entertainment capital of the world. It’s cutting edge venues bring some of the world’s most prominent musical artists to the city. We’ve seen many top acts over the years, and we often score premium tickets at the last minute for deeply discounted prices. Just last year we saw the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Ed Sheeran, and Depeche Mode, and we always had stage side tickets. Our favorite show, however, was when my wife, Gretchen, and I went to opening night at the Sphere in Las Vegas, Nevada and saw U2. It was categorically the most amazing concert either of us ever attended to date.

We dressed up for the event.

Tickets weren’t cheap, but I ended up paying only $350 each for floor, general admission tickets. We love to be stageside for concerts, so we weren’t bothered by general admission, standing only tickets. The area around the stage isn’t very big, there is plenty of room to move around, and it’s easy to get as close as you want to the stage. The view from the back is perfectly fine, and you experience more from the unbelievable LED effects.

I am a huge U2 fan. The concert was also very appealing to me because my favorite U2 album is Achtung Baby, and it serves as the show’s centerpiece. Don’t worry, they also play some recent hits, and classics from Rattle and Hum and The Joshua Tree. he setlist will not disappoint.

Can you spot Sir Paul McCartney?
Adam Clayton.

I can’t wait to see more artists at this venue. It’s an experience like none other. If you get the opportunity – check out the Sphere – Las Vegas, Nevada.
